Audio quality was poor with the arena show. Didn’t realize Sam was coming to BR next week. I’m going to try to be there.

Tough go for William Montgomery

Yeah, that set was awful. He’s been struggling for a long time.

The outfit sure didn’t do him any favors, especially when it’s paired with a poor performance

This clip showed up in my feed. Interested to see if Tim can ever successfully break away from Timmynobrakes

Yeah I saw that too. His original kill Tony set as himself was ok, not great. Timmy No Brakes doesn’t do a whole lot of jokes. It’s the character that’s funny.

This new Kevin Hart show on Netflix is well done. Last comic standing style show. A couple episodes in now. Deep pool of talent.

And Lafayette on Friday. I'm going to that one.
Sam Tallent was really good last year in Lafayette. Hopefully will be just as good this time

I was there in the front row. He interacted with us a good bit. I got the last two VIPs this time.

I saw they just announced another round of the Texas arena shows (Sugar Land & Grand Prairie). No go for me because of football season

Uncle Lazer shows up on ep 3. Tuns in a solid set but the talent pool too deep. Final episodes will be live with some sort of viewer vote. They did a good job with this show. You’ll get your moneys worth out of netflix this month with it.

It’s too much like American Idol for me. I want to see the actual sets instead of these clips. The conversations between Hart and Peele in the first episode just seem so inauthentic too. That’s why I like Kill Tony so much. It doesn’t get much more real.
I’ll keep watching some. Does it improve ?

Swallowed too many Dutchman's keys
Never made it as a wise man... get real... (harmonica)
But in all honesty, im glad the crabman is sober... KT needs him back in the mix and in good form

I finished the first episode. Most of the comics were pretty bad. But there were a few pretty solid jokes. I feel like Hart was a little unfair in who he picked. It’s not a coincidence that he picked an even number of females to males. And those females’ sets weren’t bad and some were good, but there were a few guys that had much better sets that got left out.
Uncle Laser did well. Much of his set originated from his KT minutes.

Kill Tony got the X factor because you never know what the hell you gonna see week to week. The appeal is the only barrier to entry is putting your name in a bucket. A true open competition.
Here they tried to do a step up from that. Local journeymen trying to make it Went into it thinking they were trying to do a kill tony style show but it's not that.
Agreed on not showing the full 5min for some. You figure if they show a clip and not somebody's full set they ain't gonna make it.
The bald headed black dude with the plaid jacket should have made the cut. Also the Chicago grandma. Callback group seems pretty solid.
You gotta question this idea that they all gonna do a roast. Seems like a specialized skill set but we'll see.
