He had funny moments, I didn’t think he was funny as the crowd let on. But I guess it’s the crowd that makes you

Looks like they already sold out every show. I wasn’t able to get any.

I didn’t really try. I looked on the website at about 15 after they went on sale and it wouldn’t even load. it’s insane how popular the show has become.

The mothership made an instagram post that said they sold out in about a minute. Only 2% of people were able to get some

That was surprising to me too.

His set kind of sucked but his interview was interesting. I felt like it should have been longer. The dude was very confident on stage and Tony could have gotten a lot more out of him being a very Indian man trying to do comedy in America. There aren't a ton of people who grew up in India doing comedy here.

I'll be at the show tonight. Can't wait!

I enjoyed the comics going after the panel early on. Jack Shaw bodied Greg which was hilarious to see, showed an extra gear in their back and forth. I think it threw Greg a bit off for the rest of the episode.

This will be my 6th, and the 4th at the Mothership. Went to one at Vulcan and to the 10th anniversary at the Moody Theater.

Why is William Montgomery so admired and loved? Why does he read off a notebook? is that his bit?

He more of a character. He can be great sometimes and even when his jokes don’t land, I still find myself chuckling at his reaction.

He reads off the cards for kill Tony, I guess because he is a bit nervous and does not prepare well enough to not use them. He also does kind of a Letterman Top-10 style delivery, and it seems to work. I’m told that he doesn’t do this when he is performing solo. But I wish he’d ditch the cards as it just seems lazy.

how was the in person experience? Do they cut anything? Does Tony or Redband do any crowd work?

I loved it in person. I don’t think they cut much. Tony and redban dont really talk to the audience except for briefly during the initial commercial break

Would pay some amount of money to watch a live-live stream of the show.

Still operate on a two week delay on youtube for free, but stream a live feed on some sort of subscription model. No middleman. Direct distribution.

Won't affect ticket sales. The show will be sold out until the end of time.

Not sure why aren't doing this already.

They did cut Ryan O’Neill saying him and two other people on stage ( I assume Tony and redban) were Eskimo brothers.

I thought I saw something about them doing live streams for the arena shows. I think the netflix show might have been live too.
