The kid being a clone seemed pointless. The movie would have worked fine without that. The only reason I can see for it is that it brings up the possibility that we can finally get those human/dino hybrid super soldiers in the next movie.

The clone kid was the only thing new to the franchise. I’m glad that they’re adding something to the mix. Without her, we’ve seen it all before.

Saw it today and I wish I hadn't. The last movie was a nice ending to the franchise however this one just seems pointless. Now all dinosaurs are in North California to run wild. Will the next movie be called Jurassic Invasive Species?

I wanted to applaud when, for the first time in a Jurassic Park film, the kid wasn't invited, didn't stow away to or get stranded on... the island full of deadly dinosaurs.

I was so disappointed. I was someone who didn't understand the hate for Jurassic World too.I should have known the movie was going to be bad as soon as they introduced the hipster Millennial SJW characters. Had they learned nothing from The Last Jedi? knew I wouldn't like the screaming bitch boy from the trailers but had no idea there'd also be an opinionated feminist. It was The Lost World remake beat by beat. It even had the same arch types like the T-Rex hunter/tooth collector and the a-hole nephew/guy who killed Hammond's partner with a pillow. Never mind the bringing the Dino's to the mainland storyline seen in part 2. I did like the clone girl twist though. I also badly hoped for a scene where they found a rusted Barbasol can next to Nedry's skeleton. Did they explain what happened to the dinosaurs on Isla Sorna and why they didn't just move them there?

Unlike Planet of the Apes, these Dino's can't breed. Hard to see them reclaiming the Earth in part 3 knowing that.

I thought it was good, not great but good. I liked the last one better. I enjoyed the action on the island best. My biggest disappointment was the new hybrid dino which I didn't think was very intimidating at all. Also, a big plot hole to me was the ending with the dinos in the cages about to get gassed. Instead of opening the cages and letting them out, why not just open the door to the outside and vent all the gas out that way, letting the dinos stay intact in their cages? Obviously this was to setup a movie with dinos roaming free in the modern US but it seemed stupid to do it the way they did.

Also, BDH is fine as frick.

I don't see how they can make a 2 hour movie in part three. They only brought 11 species many of which are herbivores. There is only one raptor and one t-Rex. The rest should be easy to catch. The Mosasaur will be a bitch to catch and kill. I'll give you that. I'm sure Henry Wu is cooking up a Indomi-Spinasaurus too.

I thought the estate setting was refreshing. The last 2/3 of the movie did it’s job pretty well but you could tell the writers were just hauling arse so they could get to the estate. One problem I had was that there was a lot of “Spider-Man dinosaur” moments where these humongous dinosaurs snuck up on people in complete silence.

THEY NEED TO FOCUS MORE ON THE MOSASAUR. That is the coolest remaining dinosaur in the movie and it’s had less than 5 minutes of screen time across like....4 hours.

There were a good number of species not to mention all the ones sold and the ones Wu will continue to make. Honestly I hope the third one is set some years in the future where Wu has worked with Byosin(Ingen's rival from the first movie) and created more dinosaurs and hybrids while tge escaped ones have completely screwed up the ecosystem of the US

Saw a preview before the The Meg with Jason Statham about a megalodon. My boys and I were excited of the possibility of one day making The Meg vs mososaurus. That would be epic but might need to call Syfy!

I can't believe the spitting dino has only been in one movie (the hologram cameo doesn't count).
