The first half of the first season is the worst of the entire series.
From Season 2 on it’s good without missing many beats. Great side characters.
The closest thing to a miss or “bad season” is the casting of a terrible person/actor in season 5 but it’s mostly rectified.

Agreed. It's my understanding that the hat he ended up with at the end was the one he wore in the books. But the white hat looks much better on screen.

That ending was so good. I love in this scene where a look of uncertainty comes across his face. He's not sure he can outdraw Boon. Great acting.

Duffy is on the beach somewhere.
I can’t think of a single plot point that would bring him back except for him showing up saying “I got bored” and then acting like he hadn’t disappeared.

Justified was the best tv going then & one of the best ever.
Episode 7, Blind Spot, in the first season, is when it really takes off. 2-4 were not great, 5 & 6 better, but 7, whew. About to do a re-watch.
