my favorite character was Uncle Bob.
When you went to Gilley's you had to put your sun shade down on your car or when you left your car would be sporting a Gilley's bumper sticker. Ingenious way to advertise for sure. Probably more cars in Pasadena had Gilley's stickers than did not.
