Just watched The Phantom Menace for the first time in a while

It was on Spike and I had nothing better to do today.
Man I forgot how bad this movie was. Anakin is just annoying as shite the whole movie. And who thought that Jar Jar Binks was a good idea for a character? At times it felt like a kids movie, at others, a horrible comedy. And the part where Anakin flies in to space for the first time and somehow does what trained pilots couldn't do was retarded.
The next 2 weren't that great compared to the original trilogy but at least it felt like I was watching a Star Wars movie.
Might as well watch Attack of the Clones since its coming on right now and I'm not doing anything until Arrested Development gets put up on Netflix

the second movie is the worst movie i've ever seen in a movie theater, and i saw avatar and the happening in a movie theater

I don't think the second is that bad. It has some stupid parts, but at least it does a good job of setting up episodes 4-6

same here, I was so bored I wanted to walk out and I'm a huge star wars geek. Phantom Menace wasn't great by any means but it didn't bore me to tears as AOTC did

Yeah its kinda boring, but I still don't mind it. I'm not annoyed the whole time while watching it like I am during the Phantom Menace

I don't hate TPM. To me, AOTC is by far the worst in the series. If you take out Jar Jar and cast a teenage Anakin instead, it would be a great film.

All the Phantom Menace brought us was a bad arse villain in Darth Maul, & one of the best lightsaber fights in the whole series.
