Not Saving Private Ryan, Field of Dreams, or Rocky IV but frickING BATTLESHIP makes you feel this way? No wonder you're such a shitty poster.

Watched this one a couple weeks ago, and enjoyed it. It wasn't great by any means, but it definitely did it's job and entertained for a couple of hours.
My thoughts exactly.

I liked seeing the Missouri in action though..and Brooklyn decker was pretty good to look at in this one too.

Holy shite. 43 minutes into this thing and I'm alternately thrilled and embarrassed. This is the popcorn-est shite ever. Independence Day looks like Citizen Kane.

I love this shite. Ha.

Could be the wine...

frick. It. Live blog. **spoilers ahead**

Now that I see how they used the pegs, I don't hate it. Also, Capt. John Carter of Mars is the worst. "They killed my brother and his ship" means I kill my ship? Good job non-com for slapping LT. dipshit.

I can't wait to see how this legless badass with Decker manages to save the day. Because he will. It's clear. This movie foreshadows like my mom drinks vodka.

Blatantly.

I'd give real American money to be able to understand Rihanna's island gibberish. I hope casting agents all saw this.

ETA: mahalo means thank you. Why would you say "thank you motherfu..." when firing a weapon. Goddammit.

Haha! I'd have to assume. This is just so fantastically popcorn. I'm seriously sad knowing that in my heart of hearts, no matter how much I pray, I know that my wish will never come true: that Admiral Will Smith would show up, punch a goateed alien and say, "Welcome da Earf!"

The last 30 minutes are pretty intense though. If you love America, you will love it.

ETA: And when 'Thunderstruck' gets played, you will want to start firing a weapon.

ETA: "OK boys, fire up this museum ships engines which have been rendered mechanically inoperable for 15 years!"

Final thoughts.

The MTV, once again, steered me right. All the blogs I read were very negative, but they're designed to. Thank you for telling it like it is, as you do.

Also, the soundtrack for Battleship is pretty badass.

All in all, thanks for dealing with my wine-fueled antics.

But seriously, Capt. John Carter of Mars is a shitty commander.

"Art of war man....I finally understand it."

"This has nothing to do with 'Art of War'"

"It doesn't?"

"No"

ETA: paraphrasing

I do wish they would drop the whole Transformers missiles going every which way before hitting their target kinda thing. I'm just nitpicking there.
