If the writers were doing the show now, she would last five seasons fighting a much weaker J.R. Weak enough to be another Jamie Dutton.

That.

All the shootouts his family is in. In broad daylight. Has a drunk, crazy, whorish daughter? Has had a hand in more murders since the 70’s than a mafia kingpen.

And Beth somehow isn't even as miserable to watch as Monica.

Anyone know what happened to the helicopter?

Quit after three episodes. The amount of murders taking place in such a low population area was staggering and not believable at all. I originally thought it was from the Wild West period when hearing people talk about it. But no, it is present day. Makes zero sense.

Costner wanted more money per episode. He had arguments with Sheridan and left the show.

I wasn't looking forward to watching 10 episodes of psychotic Beth being overbearing.

Costner and Sheridan had some big blowouts. At one point when Sheridan was arguing with Costner, Sheridan told Costner that he could kill him off in an instant and somehow worked in calling Costner "big boy". When I heard that, I knew they'd never finish the series. The last couple of seasons weren't good anyways.

Apparently, Sheridan is suing Rip (Cole Hauser) over his coffee venture saying it capitalizes on the Yellowstone brand.

There is no reconciling at this point.

The Beth character ruined it for us and the show was really quite stupid after the first few episodes.

I actually started muting the TV every time Beth starts talking. Her being some kind of ultimate badass and dropping the mic every time she opens her mouth is the silliest and most annoying thing I've ever seen in a TV show. I don't know if it's just the character or the actress or both but I can't stand to even see her enter a scene

Not a character one on that entire show was likeable.

The constant griping of the Indian girl and her constant victimization was also really irritating to me.

This I completely agree with, by far the most annoying person on the show.

The daughter is a bitch but has nice tits which she isn't shy about showing off.

But her character is both one of the worst things and best things about the show. She can be very entertaining but usually so damn overboard about everything.

What was the one where they put a freakin bomb in a plane to kill their adversary, and we never heard anything else about it? So there’s a plane flying around ready to explode any moment.

I suggest you take breaks and watch it slowly. I binged it and fell off because the characters have strong personalities and become annoying if its all taken in at once. While its an amazing show, one of the faults is that the characters are pretty one dimensional.

To compare to GoT, at first you hate Jamie Lanister and then he shows he's not always a POS and you grow to like him. In Yellowstone, If a character is a POS, they are always a POS.

Someone told me that Sheridan went to LSU for a few semesters and was a Kappa Sig. (would have gone by his real name of course).

There doesn’t seem to be much of a trace of this on the internet … Anybody else hear this ?

She would last about five episodes before he figured her out. He's find out about why she can't have kids and other dirt.

And if she tries to fight like Kristen did, here comes McSween

After J.R. had sex with her first.

I find a lot of parallels to the original Dallas series in terms of Yellowstone and Southfork. And it seemed as though the show shifted from Casey and Monica being the focal point in the first few episodes to those two being quickly shifted into backburner roles, especially Monica.

t's similar to the way Dallas focused a lot on Bobby and Pam in the first few episodes, and then shifted away. To me, the parallels there were that both shows found out Monica (Kelsey Absille) and Pam (Victoria Principal) were characters played by bad actors whose only real redeeming qualities as actors were that they were hot.
