This is what I think of it as well. I'm glad I ended up watching every episode for 7 seasons because it is worth it. It does have its what the frick moments, but it is my favorite show of all time.

For some reason the board likes to rip SOA for it's lack of realism but then has huge, running threads on the Walking Dead and Game of Thrones.
I don't really understand it. Like most TV shows the idea is to enjoy the story and enjoy the non-realistic stuff for the sole fact that it is non-realistic.

That's probably why the actors had to change up their accents, just to keep it interesting.

I started late and am up to date. There are periods of lull but I enjoyed it overall. Definitely a lot of tense moments throughout.

I thought SOA was entertaining but pretty over the top. I watched it all the way through but have no urge to ever watch it again. It's not like Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad, I can watch those over and over..

Some characters you'll dislike early on, but they'll grow on you. Some characters you'll never quite be sure about. It does get a bit weird after the first couple of seasons but the series has a few good twists and overall I think it's a good roller coaster ride.

Goes to hell when Jax's wife gets more screen time. I want to see gun running, drug pushing, porn making bikers, not some whiney bitch fest.

I have watched all but the last season, and just don't seem to have the desire to get it over with. One day I will just to see what happens.
It was definitely a show that pulled you in quick with violence and badasses, but the story just got old after a while.

It's a soap opera about trashy criminals instead the usual trashy rich people. In all the ways that are good and bad about soap operas.
