Agreed. I'd still put up Season 3 against majority of TV. I've enjoyed it and really don't see the hate for it. It's far from "comically bad".

So Zoe running around killing zombies with a chainsaw....Precious stabbing a guy then ripping a his heart out...Tate going from complete retard to lover boy in 10 min...Fiona going from on her deathbed, hair falling out, too weak for anything, to queen bitch again.... Marie Leaveau just cutting off Madames arm and then subsequently putting her living head in a box.... Cordelia being able to see that her husband is banging other chicks but not a witch hunter....
None of that is bad or corny?
The best storyline they have thus far is the Sax Man

I'll likely continue to watch as there are only a few more episodes, but I am watching more to laugh at it than anything else.
Season 1 and 2 fit into the likes of the hit FX programming (Shield, Americans, Justified, Rescue Me, NipTuck, Damages) whereas Season 3 seems like it should be on Syfy.

I haven't seen either of the first 2 seasons, but this board convinced me to check out S3 and I have really enjoyed, I also am neither 16 nor do I have a vagina

actually this gives me a role play idea to try with the wife tonight so thanks.
one of my favorite thigns about the entire run of the show is the acting and the cast that executes it. it's like taking a group of NFL offensive stars and coaching them to only run trick plays the entire game.

Chainsaw scene was cheesy. Other than that, what's the problem? I've seen people say overacting but other than the voodoo queen, there is none.
Kathy Bates is great in her role.
