I’m a bigger comic book movie fan than the next guy but I tend to agree. The commercials kind of suck. The color palette is so weird, the cuts are abrupt and it just looks like a mess.
Not doting on the movie itself, just the production value of the commercials.

Face it, if you thought it was the second coming of The Godfather and Seven Samurai you’d still come on here and claim it looked awful.
Personally, everything I’ve seen of Thor: Ragnarok looks like straight up dogshit. So, we’re even?

The Marvel sheep will be bleating strongly about this and any DC success(see WW) I agree, but Ragnarok looks like it will a fun ride and a HUGE improvement on the Thor series. No complaints there- looks like a blast.

The most recent trailer was pretty good with mixing the tone but, yeah, the recent TV spots have been really bad. It makes it out to be some sort of slapstick comedy. DC is really laying on the "see, we've learned our lesson" thing thick.

I wouldn't say it looks awful but, nothing about it excites me. It looks like it's trying to be a Whedon dialogue film crammed in a Snyder visual debacle. I like Snyder on his own and Whedon on his own, something that looks like a combination of both of theirs just doesn't look very appealing.
