It was what Lost was supposed to be.
I want go go back and try to rank the magnitude of how the departures affected people
On first thought, Grace's departure takes the gold medal

The Season two finale might be my favorite episode of TV ever. So damn good

International assassin is probably my favorite episode of the entire series. Tge Leftovers changed the way I viewed television shows.

I think season 1 finale was the best.
When they reveal where everyone was when the departure happened hit me pretty good.
I didn't like them but the GR added to the show.

The GR was a brilliant dramatic device. They were a horde of antagonists, contradictions and paranoia fuel.

Seems like a lot of the other characters have done well post Leftovers, wonder why Carrie Coon didn’t have a break out

I know its not the point of the series, but do they ever explain the departures
Ive watched the 1st season numerous times

Probably a top 5 all time show for me. Just freaking brilliant writing and top notch acting.
I've rewatched this twice and for some reason I cant remember hers.

Man you are missing out. Season 2 is nuts.
But yea, they explain it enough. He learned from lost that fans want a good ending and explanation to the madness.

SPOILERS
She thought her whole family departed while she was at the store.... she goes home and mourns. Turns out only dad departed, kids went looking for mom and died in the bush. Had she looked for them, they would have been saved

Guess I’m not familiar with Sinner. Seemed like she became a minor character in Fargo about half way through, but I haven’t rewatched season 3 since it aired. I could be wrong.

Her and Eccleston’s final scene was so beautiful

The music is another character in the show and it’s brilliant
I rewatched the series finale the other day and the last 20 minutes of Nora and Kevin talking is some unreal acting.
It’s some deep shite. I can remember finishing the series and wanting to go to a counseling session. Lol

Take on Me playing with Nora in the hotel room with the sprinklers going off. Good stuff.
Truly one of the GOAT shows.
