And I think the scene where Walt watches Walt Jr from afar and can't say goodbye during the finale might be the saddest scene of all time for me in television. Damn what a good scene.

Yep, he did all of it for his family and in the end it cost him his family. Well, at first it was for his family then he admitted at the end he enjoyed it.

How far do you give Jesse?

Did he leave with a bag of cash? I can’t remember. He seemed so broken that once he killed the wormy guy his purpose was gone.

He would have to go into hiding and didn't have any money. His best bet would be to work some kind of a deal for admitting everything that happened since he was already working with Hank. After that write a book and profit. Or go hide in Seattle and build wood boxes.

Jesse was free. Internally his was finally free.

He could rot in prison for the rest of his life - he was finally at peace. Nothing else mattered going forward.

I always assumed that he would have tried to find Brock after escaping.

He didn't do it all For his family. He did it for himself. He told Skylar that at the end.

That was so she could hate him. Easier to move on. And why he told her about Hanks body. Just where to find it. No pleading. No explanation.

It's been a while since I did a rewatch but are you talking about their phone conversation at the end? If so I thought it was understood he said eveyrthing he did and took all the blame because he knew the cops were listening and wanted to get skyler out of any legal trouble.

I thought he snuck into their house one last time. Or Skylers apartment or whatever that place was. Where he sees his son but can’t say anything.

No he was being sincere when he said he did it for himself because he liked it and was good at it. Watch it again.

He was lying when he threatened to kill heron the phone so the cops would not think she was helping him at all.

He wouldn't be able to make a deal. No one in the DEA (outside of Gomie) knew he was working with Hank. The DEA didn't catch Walt, Gus, or any other major player, so they would drop the hammer on Jesse if he admitted involvement.

Anyone else think the conclusion of Better Call Saul could lead to a Jesse-focused series?

Usually I'd say hell no to the idea, but Better Call Saul has been so good that I think Vince could pull it off.

We end with Saul at the Cinnabon and segue to an older Jesse.

Not true. They would already have that info straight from Marie. Jessie was also a victim at the same ambush Hank was killed at and was kidnapped because of it. Might buy some sympathy for him.

His problem would be that he doesn't have many people to roll over on. He has no leverage.

I really enjoyed the first 2-3 seasons. It got off the rails towards the end. Interesting note, the pilot has cussing in it. I believe the series was intended for HBO.
