Any chance this will still be in theaters next weekend? I've been stuck in the middle of nowhere Hungary for the last 6 weeks and come home Wednesday and was hoping to be able to catch it.

Maybe. In Gonzales it was in a theater with maybe 60 seats. And it was only half full

I downloaded on IPtorrents. I give it a 6/10. Not worth spending on.

My wife called the little girl Dora the Explorer. She even has the little backpack. I can’t unsee it.

Yes but in all of the others they put some kind of kid or family. I would prefer people that could handle themselves. Like Aliens. Without Newt

started this one about a week ago, got disgusted and walked away less than halfway through. Then I kept coming back thinking it HAD to get better (not good, just better) or at least not get any worse ... nope, got progressively worse. I finally finished it over the weekend after three attempts and it's pure utter trash. Of the others in the franchise, there are certainly some that aren't very good but still watchable - not this one though.

This one was pretty good. I was happy to see the Rancor get some work other than star wars playing the D-Rex

Over all I liked the tone, the family was ok. No need for the little girl to befriend a baby Dino (other than to try to sell merch) The mutant dinosaurs were good. Except for the D-Rex.

they lost me on the scale inconsistency of the D-Rex - in one scene it grabbed the helicopter out of midair, and made it look small - but can pick up a normal man and not have him vanish in its hand....jsut seemed off.

and the family was just plain bloat to give a side story not needed - the girl opening the raft by the Trex was so stupid.

it was just ok for me - completely predictable on who would live and die
