I was nine years old when MTM came out. Ted was by far the best thing on there for me. I also loved Murray and Sue Ann, but I was in love with Georgette. She was so sweet.

The sad thing is, he was enjoying a late career bloom and having a wonderful time until his cancer returned.

Ted Knight also hated making Caddyshack as he took acting seriously and everyone else just wanted to snort coke all day and get hammered drunk every night

Nothing can do this line the justice it deserves. Absolutely perfect delivery by Knight.
I agree Caddyshack has aged very well among its peers. They were smart to shift the focus from Danny as much as they did. Lacey is also a top tier 70s comedy sexpot.
