Not to offer up any spoilers, but the ending really is like an onion. The more you peel it , the more layers you find. That's why Joker is such a fantastic movie. No, not utterly unique and original, but done extremely well.

I had no idea what to expect. I tried to avoid movie reviews as best I could. TBH, I've tended towards Marvel characters more than DC and Heath Ledger's performance was so amazing, ( I'll ignore Jared Leto's ) I didn't want to see a lame version of another DC character.

I watched it again this afternoon. I wasn't quite as underwhelmed as I was in the theater, but it's not really a great movie by any stretch.

Unpopular opinion on this board, but I wasn’t blown away by this film. Sure, JP acted his arse off, but that definitely wasn’t Joker.

I thought it was very good, and a fun homage to Taxi Driver without being close to a rip-off as others stated. I liked the ambiguity about whether or not he was really Bruce’s half-brother. Very solid movie. While I didn’t enjoy it as much as many people did, I can completely understand the hype. It’s a really solid film.

Yeah I finally watched it myself after my friend bugged me for months about it.

All that hype and it was very mediocre. Exactly why I never buy into any hype for new movies ever.

The transition from Arthur Fleck to the The Joker is flawless,

Transitions from a whiney,needy,weak Mama's boy to a psychotic whiney,needy,weak Mama's boy.

Yep, flawless alright.

So please explain how this pathetic joker becomes a criminal mastermind and leader of a underworld empire? (Heath Ledger Joker)

And how in the world does this Joker take on a Batman who's 20 years younger?

This was an abomination of the Joker.

I never knew the joker was a little bitch until I watched this one.

This turd of a film was Sacrilegious in its message about one of the greatest villains of all time.

Great acting though, for real.

Not everyone liked Captain Marvel or Rise of Skywalker.

OK, no one liked ROS, but still, not all movies are made for everyone.

Yeah, it's not a movie you'll watch over and over.

I saw it in the theater and rebted it at Redbox.

Second viewing was as good as the first.

Don't need to see it again anytime soon.
