Fantano can definitely smell his own farts at times but I think there’s a big difference being just a reviewer/content creator vs a reporter who is threatening to report shite stories because he doesn’t have the level of access he feels he deserves

One, I don't watch horror. I gave up on it as a genre long ago. Secondly, 230 mill domestically is not a huge cultural impact. I understand it was made for a pittance so turned a healthy profit. But, in 2026 dollars, that is not a big number.

You'd have to be pretty good at ignoring pop/movie/internet culture to believe Obsession has not had a huge cultural impact this year.
