The yellow barrel being used a planter. One of 2 they used to paddle back to shore.

I think they filmed it around Destin, FL which obviously didn't look much like Martha's Vineyard.

It got taken out by Hurricane Ivan.

There is a Marriott Springhill Suites that sits at that exact location. That's where the film crew stayed.

A friend of mine that lives in Gulf Breeze was a kid when they filmed it. He was in kindergarten. They went on a field trip to the movie set. He said they saw the replica of Jaws on the beach. He said it scared the shite out of him so much that he slept in his brothers room on the floor for about 2 years after that.

I see it. 2 toned shading like a shark's body, the wheel well looking like an open mouth. Half thought it was a shark looking thing at first.

Im going to Navarre in 2 weeks. Any Jaws 2 stuff out there? I know they filmed the movie there

Scenes were also filmed at the old Hog's Breath on Okaloosa/Santa Rosa Island.

AFAIK there is no single location for Jaws 2 stuff in the area.

The film pops up in local FB discussions off and on..
