It was the beginning of CR where he became a 00. I think he meant, everything that led up to that point,,,, a CR prequel.

John Francis Daley did this with the recent D & D movie, and it turned out being a big nothing. He made claims that the lead male hero wasn't going to be all macho and it ended up to be "OK, and?", something which had been done many times already.
No, I don't trust this approach with Bond until they prove they can deliver, but it's not looking good.

You could basically make the game First Light that just came out, and it'd be a pretty solid movie.

Will Bond have more action? Be a chick? Thrown into a cyberpunk setting? Be from the American south and speak with a Mississippi accent? A Boston one?

While totally against the Bond mold and not the intent of the character, I hope the next one is different in a traditional way, like he is devoted to his wife and kids or something, and not in some progressive way, like he isn’t a womanizer but instead blows dudes in the bar bathroom.
