When does it get good?
I made it through 3 seasons of the Walking Dead before I said frick it and haven't bothered with it since.
I get the feeling that Breaking Bad is just gonna be one of those shows that everyone loves, but I just don't care for.

The pilot is great, so then. It does get better and better from there though. Unless someone said, “what are some shows that come on AMC?”, it does not belong in the same sentence as the Walking Dead.

It took me until the season 1 finale for the show to finally hook me. But once it did it was the great ride everyone here had promised.

I wasn't hooked after 1 episode either.
This isnt a show you can dip your toes into from the shallow end. You have to cannonball from the diving board.

In all honesty, even the most hardcore fans will tell you this if they're honest, Breaking bad doesn't get good until season 3.

Finish watching the first season. It was more than enough to keep me interested and it progressively gets better.

It didn't really get good to me until a certain firefight in S2E2. That's really the first time the show's main arcs intersect.

The first time I watched the pilot it turned me off, and I'm a huge fan.
Stick it out, BB just gets better and better unlike most shows that fizzle. It's a slow burn, but if you can make it to season 3 you better have some popcorn ready.
