Funny, I recently rewatched Vortex (Season 2, Ep. 1) and at the end when she's asking him to be honest with her about what happened - knowing what happens down the line, I am thinking "tell her you stupid frick."
Supposedly, Welling would walk around the set and people would routinely hear him muttering "Clark is an idiot"

You could take the characters, actors, and a good portion of the plot and do a rewrite and actually make a fantastic show. We may remember the great highlights, but the bulk of it was a procedural mess.

While the pool is shallow, I would also add John Schneider as THE Jonathan Kent
Hell, Phil Morris did such a great job as Jon Jones (Martian Manhunter) that they changed his race in the comics.

Allison Mack is clearly attractive. I love it how Hollywood makes ordinary cute girls into 5's , for the purpose of the show. She was supposed to be the 'average' looking cast member, kinda like Willow was in Buffy.
Not super sexy, but still very easy on the eyes.
I've not heard any other big names involved with this cult. Credit Hollywood for keeping much of this stuff under wraps. Like the Epstein Island stuff...we KNOW there are big names there, but damn, we're not getting any details , are we?

Gene Hackman acts circles around Rosenbaum he is Lex Luthor.
Durance may be the hottest Lois Lane, but she plays her in HS, Lois Lane is a reporter. Kidder or Hatcher are Lois Lane.
