I’m saying the male viewers are gonna be turned off by the spike in female leads.

Expect they won’t and you’re just projecting your own personal views onto reality

Female character was the best Loki

The best Loki was alligator Loki.

Dude, Black Panter is an outlier. NOBODY expected it to be the hit it was, and it's main star died suddenly.

There aren't any main male characters left other than M'Baku, who is a stretch as a "main" character.

If he hadn't died, I doubt M'Baku even makes it on the poster. The poster would still be 4 out of 5 featured stars as women, or 4 out of 6 in the off chance M'Baku actually did make the poster.

ETA: in other words, your comment changes nothing about the OP.

the majority of the viewers would PROBABLY prefer Disney to lay off the man-hating.

Disney is now being run by the EDI department. It's driving almost every bit of their content. Not surprising.

In here? No way. Both of my black friends disagree with you.

That depends. If they make movies with the female characters created in the last 10 years and it mirrors their popularity in the comics, viewership will most likely go down.

There's a difference in making a black widow movie or scarlet witch movie and an America Chavez movie.

You realize I watched that entire movie in theaters, and not once did I notice that pin

It was pretty obvious. Really hard to miss. Did you sleep through the movie?

Yeah his run with the shield in the comics is pretty divisive. He's also a very established character as Falcon which kind of makes the fact that he's now captain america feel less than.

If they give his wings to another guy to be the new Falcon (which I've seen people claim will be happening), Sam Wilson's power level would drop to unreasonable levels for the type of bad guys Captain America should be leading the Avengers against.

I guess every dull arse female character needs their own movie or show in the mcu these days

America chavez, agatha, echo, she hulk, ms marvel, kate bishop, silvy etc. It's just a overflow i don't know how anybody can deny it.

And i liked kate bishop, silvi and wandavision but this shite is too much atp. Major overcorrection

Do you pay for any type of tv subscription that includes Disney/ESPN/ABC?

I am a nerd and I love everything marvel, but damn Disney is making me think twice.

I feel like this is being overlooked a bit in OP's post.

After Endgame, I've been severely let down by Disney's choices, direction, writing, and the overall direction of the universe. I've skipped the last few shows and no longer see the movies on the big screen (severe letdown with Dr. Strange was the final straw). Just take a break, it's worth it.
