Without having watched the blindside, the movies appears to be very corny. I'm looking forward to seeing it but the awards it received and all that shite kind of surprised me.

I haven't seen it yet. It's weird, but I was looking forward to seeing it until everyone started saying how great it is, then I just lost interest.

It wasn't even the most overrated movie this year. While not a cinematic masterpiece, it was leaps and bounds better than Avatar.

having seen this movie for the first time probably 15 years ago, the attention it has recieved over the last 5 years or so from athelites/rappers/hip hop artists and the "slaves to the trends" young kids that think its the greatest film ever is just mind blowing...it was just an o.k., pretty campy crime/gansta flick, not even close to being the best in its genre...vastly overrated!

+1 on Scar Face. It's popularity is really a tribute to the acting of Al Pacino.
It made waves originally for it's extreme violence and excessive cursing.
But it's just not a very good movie. Very over rated.
