I haven’t seen any of it. I guess I never did pay it any mind, always thought of it as something for kids. But it has recently come to my attention that it may be enjoyable. What do you guys say?

It’s alright but severely lacking in diversity.

Yes

The Fellowship of the Ring is one of the greatest films I’ve ever watched. It does a good job of breaking everything down for someone who isn’t familiar with the story.

It’s the GOAT trilogy in my book

No, just wait for the Amazon series to do it right.

Don't watch it. It's super racist.

It’s the only fantasy movie to win best picture.

Correct?

It’s my #1 trilogy if all time.

It’s that good IMO. And super rewatchable too, which is nice considering how often it comes on tv.

I heard somewhere that the Amazon show creators have fixed all the problematic problems Tolkien created

Yes definitely.

The effects even hold up really well.

If I were you, I'd watch the first one, The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), for sure. Make sure you've got an empty three hour window.

If you enjoy it, watch the other two.
