The writing on Homeland is top-notch. Even though Brody is a villain and a terrorist the writing and the acting by Damian Lewis actually has you rooting for him to succeed.

1. How about a spoiler alert for those that haven't seen the show?!?

2. What kind of person roots for a terrorist to succeed in this dayy and time?

************ spoiler ************** spoiler **************** spoiler

I wanted him to blow up the vest because that was the first time in the entire first season the show was at all exciting. And that was what? the third to last episode or so

Exciting - maybe not.
Tense - definitely.

I didnt say it sucked. The story line was good. I'm just saying it took almost a full season to see a moment of suspense. And because of that I cannot agree with anyone who thinks this show is better than "good"

BB is only one of the most well written and acted shows on TV now or at anytime in recent memory.

lol. you sound like a 15 year old. how old are you?

Damian Lewis, Claire Danes and the old arabian guy on Homeland are bette than any actor or actress on Breaking bad,.

wont even get the the story line, which isn't the fairy tale that breaking bad is. It's entertaining, but just not something you can take that seriously.

It went like 12 episodes with almost NOTHING happening. It was quite boring. The storyline is fine but it is not what you're making it out to be.

I agree. I watched season 1 and wasn't even motivated to watch season 2 for another year or so.

Walt and Jesse's getting in deep finally made the show entertaining

I feel like showtime shows will tend to fly under the radar a bit compared to some of the more readily available series.

Probably more than the HBO Sunday night shows, but plenty of posters on here watch Showtime as evident from people who watched Weeds and Dexter.

Kinda like the guys cooking meth on BB?

The way Vince has you rooting for Walt or Jesse and then flips the script is better than anything on Homeland.

Homeland is a good, entertaining show. It is not as great as people are making it out to be since the Emmys.

Both casts are great, and both shows are such good TV. I don't see why you think the acting is better on one over the other.
