Is Billy Madison the greatest comedy of all time?

This movie is legitimately genius.
A perfect adult slapstick comedy that kids can watch also.
Adam Sandler's sense of humor in the early days is unrivaled. And when you rewatch it its hard to comprehend how they even came up with this shite.

The touch of having a car slip on a banana peel I always appreciated.

Sandler’s best imo. Happy Gilmore a close 2nd.

It’s not even the best Adam Sandler movie. I’ll take the one that taught me grizzly Adams did have a beard.

Happy Gilmore is great as well, but the humor is tamed compare to Billy Madison.
It's legitimately like they gave him a blank canvas and said do whatever you want.

I know. Madison is freaking fantastic.
I just think the characters in HG are so amazing and memorable. Even the very minor characters like the alligator, Bob barker, the boss at the construction company, Ben stiller as the orderly all perfect

Definitely more memorable characters in HG. It's a better put together story. I guess that's why I like Billy Madison more, because it's so random and all over the place.
