hard to misinterpret a plot that a 3rd grader could have written

And it's ironic a guy who knows nothing of the lore thinks he could write a better plot.

rex and chad504boy could have put together a better plot. You don't need knowledge of lore to be able to tell that a script is shittily written. Its predictability was a chief complaint from critics, so im not alone on this

The first two were by-the-book predictable movies that would have been pretty forgettable if not for RDJ nailing the Tony Stark role.

I think we can both agree that Tony Stark is great and was done perfectly. It is the films' redeeming feature. RDJ was truly born to play Iron Man, and that's a rare feat.

I'm looking forward to it. Be interesting to see how this ends with RDJ's contract up but still expected for Avengers 2. Oh and Gwyneth Paltrow in undies? Yes please!

yeah he was pretty much the only interesting character in the whole movie. when the talking robot is more interesting than the other characters, that's a problem

I have no previous experience with Iron Man lore so I had no idea. I understood it just fine. The plot left much to be desired, and everything else about the movie was very average

Don't forget that it also teaches kids that being a total fricking douchebag is really cool.

I didn't think they were terrible, just not great. I was bored in the second half of Iron Man, and didn't give a damn about anything in the second film.

There wasn't many critics complaining about this movie. How can someone not enjoy the first Iron Man? Must be really hard to please. It was a highly entertaining movie with strong leads as well as excellent action and visual effects. Great superhero flick.

i didn't say they disliked it, but the predictability was a minor complaint i saw in many reviews. no such thing as a perfect movie. there is always something you can wish was done better
