The Thin Red Line, worst war movie in the history of war movies. A complete and utter abomination.

I don't get what's so bad about Titanic. It was an amazing feat to pull off and be entertaining.

The movie isn't for everyone. I love A Clockwork Orange and it's one of my favorite movies, but I can understand why a lot of people wouldn't.

Freaux,

I said that one too. Was it not popular?

I don't go to very many movies and I don't read any other sights other than this one to see people's thoughts on movies.
I honestly thought it was a critically acclaimed, and therefore, somewhat popular movie. This board makes it out to be great so I thought that was some consensus opinion.

Posting this to etm512 because he understands the concept of me not really posting it to him.

I hope the people that are saying the movies suck have seen them uncut, not just on basic cable with editing and commercials. I would think there are a great number on them that would be better this way.

Any R rated movie is going to suck on AMC, TNT, USA, or any other basic cable network. I watched some of The Godfather this week on AMC and it seemed like they cut out some dialogue for no other reason than time restraints.

Every once in a while a family movie like Secondhand Lions will come along and be great on basic cable.

I don't think it's fair to say a movie sucks if you didn't see it uncut.

Actually the whole movie was full of caricatures. Ones with no basis in reality that were more sickness inducing than eye-rolling. Though I did roll my eyes many, many times and was somewhat sick at the disgusting atrocity that was The Thin Red Line.
