Yeah if you really pay attention to how the battle went down, there was definitely some shite going wrong. I would be nitpicking to really quip about it, but I'll just say that these characters were literally meeting each other for the first time not long before, and even though they worked pretty good as a single unit attacking Thanos, they obviously still made mistakes/didn't use more effective methods.
Would any of them have been capable of taking off his head instantaneously? I mean Manta was barely disturbed when Quill lost his shite and she lost control of him. The closest attack that may have worked would be dropping him into a portal and closing it over his neck. It's definitely an area that was not covered(if the gauntlet and stones actually make his body impervious to almost all attacks?) When Tony sent a boulder into him from above he had zero reaction time but was pretty much unphased. I'm thinking Stormbreaker and Thor are the only means capable of striking a killing blow against a fully-stoned Thanos, and Thor pretty much lost that one shot when he decided to "have words with thee" by striking Thanos in the chest.
One question I have is this: Did Thanos ever really desire to kill any of the characters attacking him if they hadn't betrayed him before,(leaving Gamora/Nebula out for familial reasons) or was his ego big enough at that point that he became indifferent to their weakness next to him? I mean he was clearly level-headed in his own way, and he really just wanted balance, and had no issues with anyone in particular. It just stands to reason that with his gauntlet pretty much maxed out he could have easily destroyed any of them.

RDJs contract ended with Age of Ultron, 6 picture deal. He’s just been getting paid since.

Strange was helping restrain Thanos at the time.

$10 Mill to wag his finger at Peter in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

quote:why is this. What's stopping thor from finding thanos and fricking him up again. He had all 6 stones and couldnt stand against thor cor even 5 seconds. The only reason thanos was able to complete his mission is because while he was getting the mind stone from vision tgor was busy single handedly destroying all of thanos's warships as soon as he finished that set his eyes in thanos thanos shot a beam from the powerstone and thor through stormbreaker right through that shite into his chest. Thanos is frickes if he runs into thor agaib

Thor is extremely powerful but I feel like he caught Thanos off guard which is how Thor was able impale him.

Stormbreaker/Thor plowed right through whatever Thanos was throwing at them from the gauntlet. He knew he was coming and tried to stop him, to no effect.

The next time, Thanos won't make the mistake of using the Power Stone. He'll use the Time Stone and stop Thor in his tracks.

Does it aggravate anyone else that the handle to Thor’s ax is a shitty breakable branch from groot?
Posted on 5/9/18 at 7:05 pm to Cow Drogo
Was kind of silly but pretty sure even without whatever properties groot wood has, it was probably bound magically when it connected to the axe. I thought the more interesting thing was how the handle remained even after Groot snapped away to soulrealm. You have to think Thor will have an ever bigger role in A4, with him basically being the only means to fast travel across the cosmos using Stormbreaker
