The next gen characters were the ones vaporized. I’m guessing that there will be an option for the older heroes to exchange places. Tony in exchange for Peter, Cap for Bucky, etc.

The movie was fun, but the ending fell flat. I’ll have to see it again to hear the lines I missed due to the audience’s exaggerated opening night laughter. I love when the cavalry comes to the rescue. That was half of the movie, so I smiled a lot.

Would be epic if at some point during Agents of Shield tomorrow night people just started disintegrating.

DC and Warner Bros needs to pay them billions, not millions to run the DCEU.

Superman deserves the Russos.

They should have directed Age of Ultron as well, the criticism of Man of Steel be damned. They would understand why ridiculous violence from Zod and Superman doesn’t work, but would know that ultra-violence should have been Ultron’s bread and butter.

I have to say though, this movie is one of the great cinematic achievements of all time. I’d say that if it was sloppy which I was expecting, but no. This is a competent film, which with all the moving pieces is nothing short of a miracle.

Just got out and it was amazing. Really shocked they went with Thanos killing half the universe and just ended on that. Reminds me of the Red Wedding. The scene between Peter and Tony when Peter was slowly fading away was hard to watch. Honestly not sure how they regroup and win but I'm sure Captain Marvel and Adam Warlock will be there

I also noticed the original Avengers all survived and the new kids died. Thought, well I guess the killing of half the population wasn't so random after all.

So what do you think is the spoilery name for Avengers 4?

And I just realized that Ant-Man and Hawkeye weren’t in this movie

Yeah. They covered that with one line of exposition.

It is.. the fact that it was a good, if not great movie is amazing. 10 years, 18 movies all leading up to this, with this many different characters. It’s never been done before and it was very well.

It’s not a “Come on man”. Everyone thought Marvel was fricking high to think they could pull this off. I remember thinking the original Avengers was nuts and wouldn’t work. This is that times ten. It is one of the greatest cinematic achievements of all time.

It doesn’t mean it’s one of the greatest films ever made, but impressive and ambitious, it’s in the Top 10. It’s the most ambitious project since the Lord of the Rings.

Yeah, I’m aware.. just at that point I expected them to show up later, then forgot all about them till just a few minutes ago. I know Hawkeye is in the next one, I would assume Antman and Wasp will be as well.
