I haven't read shite in the spoilers, but if Thanos gets all the Infinity Stones and wipes out half of the universe, I'm going to want to strangle some critics and the Tomatometer in general. I can't think of anything else that would have everyone saying "shocking ending" as much. I guess Marvel actually following through with a threat they make would be a bit of a change.

Waiting on the post credits scene now.

Wife is out of town with kids. I got a single ticket for THX 3d. Looked online and there was one seat in the back row open. Decided to buy ticket, just have to act like I didn't see it when I go next weekend. Lol
Pumped up, watching Ultron now.
ETa- ticket was $19.50 for one with Fandango. That's high as F

Curious as to how they approach bringing everyone back to life. Time travel? Maybe Thanos wins, gets bored, & simply resets the universe. (isn't this an actual plot line in the comics?)
Not a comic reader. Is it possible that Thanos’ victory occurred in a mirror universe conjured by Strange?

read the spoilers a few days ago because I don't care

Read the spoilers. This movie is gonna be heavy as frick. I love it.
Also if you view Thanos as the main character I could see how this could be somewhat of a standalone movie.

I’d like to extend an exceptionally long middle finger to every critic that spoiled the ending, as well as Rotten Tomatoes as a whole. The initial verdict was “an ending you’d never see coming”. Ummmm, yeah my mind immediately goes to Thanos successfully getting all the stones. To all these critics and the people who run Rotten Tomatoes, please proceed to put your nuts into a door and slam it repeatably until you can’t reproduce anymore, you fricking hacks.

But the movie was great. Much better than I was expecting. I’ve given Thanos shite for the past decade for being a fricking hack and Darkseid rip-off, but he’s by far the best MCU villain (Vulture and Loki are the only ones in sniffing distance). Although I think they’ll reverse a lot of this crap in the sequel, this what they should have done with Ultron. But all hail Thanos. He was fantastic, and I’m glad to be dead fricking wrong on him being an awful overrated villain.

Everyone knew this was a two part movie. Thanos coming out on top at the end shouldn't be a surprise.

Him getting all 6 stones and evaporating more than half of the cast was. They spoiled that. I expected him to be missing the Reality and Time stones by the end of it. But the critics and Rotten Tomatoes (at least until enough nerds bitched about it) didn’t care. frick the fricking frickers for spoiling it. I didn’t feel like I could trust them after going in blind with just the T-Meter in TLJ, so I read through, and got me on that. frick all these twats.

Great movie, just got out. That gauntlet looked pretty fried at the end when Thor had him pinned. Surprised at the actual deaths earlier in the movie. I liked Gamora. Thanos had a sweet squad with him, they were awesome.
Surely they bring back most of the big hitters: BP, spidey, etc. Too much money in those characters to kill them off.

I think they all come back in part 2, but then others die in their place. Looking at you Cap and Stark.
Posted on 4/26/18 at 10:09 pm to PsychTiger
I wish they would give Thor and Cap a solo movie before part 2 comes

Calling Captain Marvel, who probably would have come in handy.

Several pre screening reviews criticized the amount of humor used in the movie but I loved it. The crowd also seemed to appreciate the call back jokes, inside jokes between certain characters and pop culture references. To me that’s always separated marvel from DC.

Deadpool made that clear during the previews.
