I enjoyed the new Batman movies, but neither has surpass The Crow as tops in that genre.

I would also add "Far From Heaven" and "In the Bedroom" to my list.

I feel I really can't make a list yet since I still have a lot of movies from this decade in my netflix queue that I haven't seen yet. I don't know if any of them are great but I'd like to see them all first before making a best decade list of my own.

I'm slowly catching up but it's not easy for me cause I don't devote all my movie time to this decade.

These are the ones I still haven't seen:

The Departed
Mystic River
There Will Be Blood
A History of Violence
Before the Devil Knows You're Dead
Running Scared
Hot Fuzz
Taken
Insomnia
Capote
Redbelt
Spartan
Walk the Line
Eastern Promises
Amores Perros
The Machinist
Inland Empire
Infernal Affairs
Dark Blue
The Transporter
The Pledge
The Yards

Just out of curiosity, I checked out the next 15. Since imdb exlcuded several films from this year with high rankings, I did the same:

Pan’s Labyrinth
Slumdog Millionaire
Gran Torino
Downfall
The Prestige
Sin City
Hotel Rwanda
The Wrestler
Batman Begins
No Country for Old Men
Oldboy
Gladiator
There Will Be Blood
Donnie Darko
Into the Wild

again i liked the dark knight, but it did have major flaws. first it was way too long for me, two face was misused badly. he deserves his own movie not some cheap scenes at the end. harvey dent was a great character but two face wasnt. batmans voice is lame. the joker was awesome, but too me he was so good that a lot of the scenes he wasnt in were boring

The best scene in TDK was the opening bank robbery sequence. It's usually not a good sign when the best scene is the first one.

None of the LOTR's or TDK should be on there. Popcorn movies and that's okay. But nothing more.

Requiem For A Dream

I thought it was a good flick

Jennifer Connely topless (pre breast reduction surgery) was the only redeeming quality of the film.

FWIW this is just a list of the Top 15 movies of this decade from their Top250 voted by fans and not a list put together by IMDB staff or critics.
Thanks to the internet crazy kids, blogging super nerds and wannabe hobbits and wizards movies like LOTR, Walle and Up make this list.

1990's put out stuff that just broke ground.

I think alot of it had to do with Miramax, Sundance, type of movies becoming more available and mainstream.

I still don't get the love for "The Dark knight" I watched it once...and that was enough for me. Wasn't bad...but I didn't piss my pants over it.

It did really well because females wanted to see it because of the LEdger thing...Ledger got some death votes...and now the movie is the greatest of the decade? holy shite
