I made it through, and it was about what I expected. It’s an Adam Sandler movie. He checked all his usual boxes, and didn’t try to do something different. It’s worth a watch.

This. I went in expecting not to care if I finished it or not but I easily did. Definitely not his worst film of the last 10 or so years.

During it, I was thinking it would be cool if we saw him connect with his kids better with some Click emotion but this is fricking Happy Gilmore. It was as it should be. Nice to see Huel from BB playing Chubbs son.

I liked the movie. No, it’s not the original, but it’s not bad. It was about as good as I could’ve expected.

Really? This movie is awful

It’s one thing for a sequel to reference itself, this even includes the clips from the original in case you forgot

I do see the Caddyshack 2 comparisons. Scheff was good in it

It's a Sandler movie, we're not watching Daniel Day Lewis or Brando here.

I'm 53 and loved the original, was Happy2 as good as the 1st, no, but I was entertained for a couple hours. It definitely wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen.

I loved it. Not gonna lie. It was ridiculous and I’m ok with that.

Watching it now.

Oddly enough my wife seems to love it.

For me, it is watchable, but that is about it. Seeing Verne so old just depressed me.

Edit: OK, it was stupid, but it was no Caddyshack 2. Not a bad way to pass a Friday night when your 52.

You know how Grown Ups is actually a decent movie for what it is, and Grown Ups II started to be the same but just went crazy about 2/3 though?

This was Grown Ups II.

I’m honestly surprised Bryson and Brooks were apart of this when the central premise was such an obvious slight against LIV
