And we all know Ali was just trying to make Johnny jealous and get back at him as she dumps Daniel as soon as he beats Johnny in the tournament.

Daniel is in L.A. for two seconds, makes a friend and then that guy dumps him the same day.

I doubt he had "plenty of friends in Jersey." He just wasn't getting his arse kicked in Jersey.

His girlfriend and two other friends came to see him off, she may not have been anything great..as California Ali wasn't anything he was used to.

hell, I remember my first blonde.

He probably fit in.. Being Italian, loud, obnoxious, shady and annoying in new jersey seemed like the normal. Still does.

Freddy Fernandez? He and a couple other guys from the beach are at the All Valley Tournament. They run onto the mat and carry Daniel off after he wins.

Why would a woodie be retro in 1984 when several car companies were still putting out vehicles with wood paneling? Off the top of my head Chevrolet, AMC, Jeep, Plymouth, Ford, Buick, and Mercury were all still doing it. Even the Griswold Family Truckster had it.

I saw in a Cobra Kai interview that Macchio got the car when the movie shooting finished and still has it and it is the one that they are using in Cobra Kai. The rest are replicas.

Well I know, she broke up with him, he didn't.

But you know she was doing the whole Daniel dance just to piss him off.

Johnny didn't give a crap about Daniel - he wanted Ali back...and Ali threw Daniel in the middle...

That's why she's the villain.
