I watched the first episode of the first season about 2 years ago. Graphically fricking a pig is no goddamn way to begin a new series. Consequently it turned me off for awhile. That shite was just a little too frickin' real ya know.

Well last night i watched the second episode and man did it fricking suck. Now i know this show gets better. I've read alot of comments on it. What i need though is a list of episodes to skip and episodes to watch. The " 15 million merits" episode was a pile a' shite and i really don't want to waste my time with anymore snoozers.

Opinions/thoughts are appreciated.

Jesus. Maybe this show just isn't for you if you can't just watch it and you are that turned off after 2 hours of Television.

I still don't understand why people are so turned off by episode 1. I think its fantastic.

Anyway...I personally think the next episode in order for you, The Entire History of You, is one of the better episodes of the entire series. If you don't like it I'd just stop watching.

Some episodes are better than others. Just watch them all. its not like each season is 20 or even 8 episodes long.

I heard a ton of comments on the first episode but this is the first time I’ve heard...

The first episode wasn't that great. Second one was ok. It gets better IMO.

The next episode, Entire History of You is much better IMO...may be one of my favorites as it really starts to mind frick you when introducing futuristic technologies.

USS Callister is the first episode that I ever watched and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

My other favorites are:
White Christmas
Nosedive
San Junipero
Arkangel
Hang the DJ

The others are worth a watch. The newest season was a low point, but I still enjoyed it.

Just so you know, 15 Million Merits is generally considered one of the best episodes of the show. Its not one of my personal favorites though.

I'm a big fan of White Christmas and San Junipero.

For some reason Netflix was fricking up the order in the seasons. Season 1 I saw The Entire History of Us. Thought that was the first episode. Apparently not. Then some how some way, I watched (2) episodes of Season 5 before realizing it skipped the other seasons. Crazy. Good thing these are stand alone episodes (has easter egg ref to other episodes).

Well i'm really not into pig fricking and he fricked the shite out of that pig. They made it look pretty real. I found it a bit much.

I think you need to understand this show a bit more and understand the reasoning and message behind each episode.

It wasn't about "pig fricking".

You don't have to call on jesus. It ain't that serious.

No. If i can generally avoid bad tv, i'd like to. Discussion forums are good for that. A concensus seems to be building in the comments in terms of what episodes to watch. it's helpful.

Its up and down and seems to be down for good now. Watch the following episodes:

1. The Entire History Of You
2. White Christmas
3. USS Callister
4. Hated In The Nation
5. White Bear

those are the quintessential episodes i've seen. if you don't like those, you don't like the show. First episode was aweful.

I know it wasn't about pig fricking, I watched the episode. And i get the point of the series. I also know each episode is stand alone. Do you have an opinion on which episodes suck and which ones don't?

No. I don't know.

I thought 15 Million Merits was one of the worst. It definitely gets better.

Truth:

People that shy away from Black Mirror because of the first episode don't get to share their opinions on recent episodes.
