The Jinx and Making a Murderer are 2 of the best I've seen.

Any similar new true crimes docs in 2021?

That's fiction....not true crime. I need something real.

Not a true crime doc, but one of the best I’ve seen recently.

Did you catch the one about the Nightstalker on Netflix?

And it’s not a true crime doc, but Mare of Easttown is a good watch.

There's several in 2 or 3 part series out there.

John Wayne Gacy "The Killer Clown"

Dennis Rader "BTK"

Richard Ramirez "The Night Stalker"

Gary Ridgeway "The Green River Killer"

Ted Bundy

Joseph James DeAngelo "The Golden State Killer"

Rodney Alcala "The Dating Game Killer"

Keith Jesperson "The Happy Face Killer"

Edmond Kemper "The Co-ed Killer"

Charles Ng and Leonard Lake "The Operation Miranda Killers"

Jeffrey Dahmer

And that's just a very small portion of killers profiled on TV.

ETA: Many of these shows aired on "Investigation Discovery" and "How It Really Happened" with Donnie Wahlberg

I'm assuming OP has seen Evil Genius on NF.

If not, watch it immediately.

My fiancé just watched Nail Bomber on Netflix and said it was really good. It isn’t a series, but I’m gonna watch it at some point this week.

I already put a list of serial killers to check out but one that stands out for me is Edmund Kemper. He killed his grandparents at age 15 after he decided he could no longer live with his mother as they clashed all the time.

He served juvenile life and got out of a mental institution for the criminally insane at age 21----------and went right back to living with his mother, whom the Drs. recommended he never have further contact with.

He then went on to become a serial killer of 8 young women hitchhiking from the local college. He did eventually kill his mother and one of her best friends before driving out of state and turning himself in. He is currently in prison for life without parole.

Killing for Love on Prime Or AMC+.

Good lord was that dude the biggest patsy.

Like Making a Murderer you still don't know what happened and why?

But riveting true crime drama trying to figure it all out.

The Night Caller

It starts one direction, takes off on another...and the two intersect. It's an all-nighter...

From IMDB...

Brilliant and absorbing documentary
An absolutely riveting and involving documentary from writer/director Thomas Meadmore.

It is centred on Perth in Western Australia but is so engrossing that it is an absorbing watch for everybody. Slowly the documentary unfolds with some remarkable research of the period (the sixties) and how the people of that city were affected. As one writer wrote, "it made Perth a city." It reaches the conclusion that will leave a gulp for one marvellous person at the centre of all the horror. A stunning atmospheric documentary I highly recommend.
