This was my only problem with the movie. I won't call it awful, but I really didn't care for it.

Waltz breaking character because he wouldn't shake Candie's hand really bothered me. Then the shoot out with Django and Broomhilda was over-the-top cheesy and didn't really fit in with the rest of the movie.

Spoilers.

I liked the movie but the ending made no sense. The doc was a cold blooded killer. I just don't buy his reaction at the end. Felt forced and totally out of character given the earlier scene making django shoot the guy in front of his kid.
would have made more sense if Leo decided to kill them for trying to cheat him.

I think it was a total shitstorm. Such a huge disappointment after "Basterds".

To clarify: I was enjoying it in the beginning, but it started corkscrewing about halfway in and by the end it was a full blown shite hurricane. The last half (at least) straight ruined the good parts in the beginning.

my sister in law worked on that movie and said he's one of the nicest actors she's ever worked with

she said he wasnt arrogant at all and kept showing her pictures of his daughter and talking about her

kept asking my sil about Louisiana and how she was liking the movie industry

I watched it for the first time as well. The movie was awesome.

I haven't watched many QT films. Does he always use over the top blood explosions when people are shot? It really adds to the ridiculousness of many of the gun fights. In a good way that is.

Haven't enjoyed a movie in a theater that much in at least a decade. Sure, you can argue that Inglorious is better. But Django was more fun on first viewing. My favorite flick of 2012.

I thought it sucked hard but I'm probably in the minority. I wouldn't waste two hours of my time again.

It didn't have any classic lines. It was a black cowboy and a bunch of sensationalized nonsense.

This is my opinion though. I think it's one of Tarentino's worst.

It was OK. Pulp Fiction is one of my favorite movies but overall I'm just not a Tarantino fan.

The story was missing logic. That might have been the issue you had.

The last 30 minutes ruined the movie for me. I don't know. It just seemed ridiculous. The beginning and up until they meet Candie was the best part.

This, after watching I told myself I'd never sit through another long arse Tarantino film

bullshite. Django is littered with classic lines. What movie were you watching?

Which is inherently awesome
