That movie was stupid b/c he didn't have to die. He could have gotten in that little shelter thing with them. I was more upset about the dog dying than Will Smith.

That movie sucked because of the abrupt, religified ending, in my opinion.

The premise was cool as hell, though.

*insert obligatory alternate ending is better comment*

Although, if they had stuck to the book, we could have gotten best of both worlds.

You know, I never would have watched that movie again had I not heard of an alternate ending, but I might have to check that out.

Im sure most of you know that this was a remake of "Omega Man" with Charlton Heston from the 70's. My old man took me to see it, one of my all time faves.

Love Legend too. In blue ray. Will Smith is great.

That's where the movie ended for me. It was great until then, then it just became CGI crapfest.

I thought it was a really good show. Most impressive performance of Will Smith that I've seen. Especially since he was by himself for most of the movie. Sucked that he died. I wondered why he didn't get in the shelter with them myself. But, hey, the hero dies sometimes. Didn't ruin the movie.

Eh....wouldn't say that.

Just another adaptation of the book.

There are a bare handful of actors that can pull off being the only real "character" for 80% of the movie.

Not exact remake but the plot is almost identical. Even used the same name.

it was nothing like the book, the premise wasn't even the same. I liked the movie because i read the book after. I would have hated it otherwise

Getting off topic but have you guys seen "Fistful of Dollars", a spaghetti western with Eastwood and "Last Man Standing", a roaring 20's gangster flick with Bruce Willis? It's the same friggin movie!

He is the legend in the comic because the zombies/Vampires things have forgotten humanity.

The alternate ending, shows the Monsters have intelligence and Will realizes this. He frees the one, he captured and the others let him alone.

Which is what you would expect considering that both draw from the same book.
