Yeah that sucks. I was once interested in visiting Tehran.

No idea. I first realized it when I got nostalgic and tried to watch a few episodes of the Brady Bunch. Most of the ones I was interested in weren’t on there.

It shows the people of Iran in a good light, but the government of Iran in a VERY bad light. Did you not catch the part at the end when it said that a few weeks after filming, the nice family he spoke with had been taken away by police in the night and were never seen again? They were journalists who had spoken out against the regime, and the government either locked them up in a prison or just straight up murdered them. That’s not a very peachy picture.

I do recall parts of the episode.The parts I remember were Anthony saying positive things about the Iranian govt and shitting all over the KSA.

Not to go into PoliBoard mode but the only way this spirals into us going to war with Iran is if either side fricks up on an almost unimaginable scale.
Iran and the US have been wagging their peckers at each other for 40 years now, including some exchanges a lot more heated than this, and it hasn't boiled over yet.

I remember that episode. Definitely chilling. Most people don’t seem to care about thinking of populations living under despotic, antiquated religious rule. They lump them all together under singular labels. Most people just want to live in relative peace.
