How well has The Fight Club aged? (Spoilers)

I just watched it for the first time to completion. Amazingly, I was unspoiled. I had tried to watch it numerous times and never got far before an interruption. I always meant to finish it but never did. The ending was truly amazing. The ending reminds me of the Usual Suspects ending. I’m now thinking about all the clues that were layered into the plot. It has the Sixth Sense type of reveal that was telegraphed if you understood what to look for.
I have to say I rate this movie as a timeless classic.

“We're a generation of men raised by women. I'm wondering if another woman is really the answer we need.”

I saw that movie when I was 20 years old and it resonated with me a lot just like it did with a lot of other guys at that age. Watching it as an older man I still find it hilarious but it doesnt quite speak to me the same way if you get my drift.

The movie/book made me an anarchist in my teens. I’ve calmed down since then I hope
You should look into the Cacophony Society. They were Chuck Palanucks (frick the spelling) inspiration for the fictional fight club. They were the guys that started burning man as well. Interesting shite

That movie came out in 1999. When you think about the way those buildings collapse in the background at the end and compare it to 9/11, the ending gets just freaky... A little too close to premonition/prediction.

What makes the movie special, more than anything in my mind ... is the third person narrative.
"I am Jack's ...."
I am Jack's colon. "
I am Jack’s raging bile duct.
I am Jack’s cold sweat.
I am Jack’s... complete lack of surprise.
I am Jack's smirking revenge.
I am Jack’s wasted life.
I am Jack’s inflamed sense of rejection.
I am Jack’s broken heart.
I Am Jack's Medulla Oblongata

Yeah, we all used to watch it a lot, I still do, but I used to too.
