Watched episode 3. Thought it was ok and had a few good funny moments. I'll keep going for the time being.
I agree with you on the tinder stuff though. It was kinda weird that she seemed to be bragging about going on so many tinder dates and sharing that...maybe I'm just that much out of touch with the younger crowd...

I'm not one to bump threads, but the awfulness of this show has compelled me. I'm trying my hardest not to make snide comments to my girl before baseball comes on.

HIMYM wasn’t some amazing show to begin with; without NPH that show bombs.

You could say that about almost any show. "Remove one of the main characters and it would suck". Duh. I will hear no slander of Robin, Lily, or Marshal. We all know Ted was the only replaceable actor on that show. Bob Saget's voiceover was more irreplaceable than the actor who played Ted.

Don't get me wrong, I liked Ted fine. But there's a long list of actors who could've played that role without the show being much different. Can't say the same about NPH, Segel, Smulders, or even Alyson Hanigan. The rest of the crew brought a lot more to their characters IMHO.

I dont hate Ted nearly as much as the rest of HIMYM fans, but this quote had me cracking up. Brought to mind Chappelle Shows’s “White people love Waybe Brady because he makes Bryant Gumble look like Malcom X”.
