Ted and VIctoria drive off into the sunset.
he can't end up with Victoria because he meets his wife at the wedding

Everything is worked out in a way that makes sense for all the characters and is a nice way to end it
Then they shite all over it

I love the show, but I have a few problems with the writing developments.
First, how does Barney go from hating relationships to falling in love with three women in the span of one season?
Second, why the hell does Ted keep relapsing? Telling Robin he loves him again was just embarrassing. Going back to Victoria is sickening. How are the kids even taking their dad seriously anymore?

Seriously. It's like they started sacrificing comedy for developing the story, and then decided to ignore all of it.

Why couldn't Robin have her own story. Quinn fit just right. And everyone single fan of this series KNOWS it is not Victoria. That was just pathetic.

Wow to say I am pissed with how that ended is the understatement of the century.
#1 When did they say for certain that was Barney's wedding? I am going to assume they did at some point, I just genuinely dont remember.
#2 The Ted/Victoria thing is so ridiculous. If he marries her, then the last episode might as well be "well kids, the entire story I just told you is made up". There is no world that she can be the mother, thus it is literally never ending circle the writers have put us in with no escape in sight.
So we were led to believe we would get closure with this finale but now we are right back to where we started and are forced to believe the last 4 seasons have meant nothing and that barney marries robin and ted runs back to victoria.
this is terrible.

I agree that it's Robin and Barney, but could Robin be marrying some random? It is stupid if so, but her marrying Barney is just as dumb at this point.

I would have taken seeing the back of a red head or blonde who's gonna marry Ted, instead of having to watch him go into another relationship that won't last.

I just don't remember when the story says Ted meets the wife at Barney's wedding. Could it be that Ted proposes to the wife at Barney's wedding?
I still think Barney's sister is the wife...and I saw Barney/Robyn coming from a mile away even though it makes no frickin sense with the way the past few season have gone.
