It was a really good show. Numbers must have been horrible. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Wonder Man and Trever.

HBO is the only streaming service that has any understanding of how to steward a series. They don't throw a thousand shows a year at the wall to see what sticks. The are careful to green light. And once they do green light, they tend to give shows time to grow.

I agree. Thought it was a very good show. Sad they are cancelling it after saying it was coming back.

Rome got fricked by it being a co-production with a British TV channel who later pulled out, causing the series to be shortened by a season.

Wow. That's VERY disappointing. It's a great series. What a mistake.
