Has no one seen the "rastafarian targaryian" on YouTube?

It's pretty cannon since it's the queen of dragons singing it.

Has to be a part of lore

Why was that particular dragon egg so essential that it made everyone change tune so quickly

Definitely less action in this episode but it still held my undivided attention.

The characters and acting is superb. I enjoy the political drama just as much as iron and flesh.

It really has. The whole cast has absolutely been smashing it so far too. Especially the princess

Solid follow up to the premiere. They’re not fricking around with filler given the timeline jumps though.

Sir Otto with hands down the most punchable face so far.

Dumb question, why did Hightower and his men seem so caught off guard by having to face Daemon’s dragon? They immediately yielded as if they thought they could force Daemon to relent without facing his dragon. I just feel like they should’ve been more prepared.

Eta: Just an observation, enjoyed the episode overall.

Is this allowed to be talked about? I was thinking earlier that whomever is filling the princess’ shoes better have big arse feet.

I agree. The current Rhaenyra actress is Excellent. I wish she would continue the role instead of casting someone older.

I think Otto was gambling on Daemon not challenging the crown there. Killing the hand and two Kingsguard would be hard to let slide.

Even if you expect a dragon, you probably stutter step a little when you see it.

It was the egg meant for the heir to the throne.

King Viserys really fricked up choosing companionship over political strategy.

Boring…I was afraid this series couldn’t excel by focusing on just one house. Only reason there is any intrigue is bc of the original series.

I've got to admit, them going with "rivers of blood" through Dragonstone (I assume) as the credit sequence pretty much tells one this shite is going dark quickly.

He's the only one that thinks it's fricked up to marry a 12 year old.

So about the King's choice of his next wife, obviously he should have made the correct political choice and went with the Sea Snake's daughter. Is aligning with House Hightower really that bad of a choice though?

It’s not just focused on one house.

You have the Targaryens who currently have power (and really have factions within between Viserys, Daemon, and Rhaenyra).

You have the Velayron with Corlys, his wife (the Queen Who Never Was), and his power of the navy.

You have the Hightowers, which are being highly elevated with Otto as the Hand and now his daughter soon to be Queen Alicent.

And it will only get more complicated as we progress because of the line of succession.

In a world where you marry your sister or cousin regularly it’s kind of a footnote.
