Just saw it tonight. Definitely worth a watch IMO. It was pretty dirty but it is ridiculous to say it was close to X rated. There was some sex (nothing shown), some tits, and a close bj situation, but coming out of the movie, thinking about how dirty it was, was the last thing that came into my mind. a lot of good long running jokes.
Lots of time travel fails, but it was obvious that they didn't care, so it didn't affect my thoughts on the movie.

I liked it.
Definitely worth the money. And everyone in the audience seemed to find it funny also.

I am not one to look out for little mistakes in movies (for this see yesterday's Wall Street Journal - not tat you hayseeds know what that is) but this was so obvious. It was repeated over and over that they were going back exactly 20 years (even showed a dial on back to the future board; kid who was afraid he would never be born was conceived exactly 20 years before)
Anyway, itmakes me think the movie was made 4 years ago and shelved, and brought to release do to success of The Hangover. The references to 1986 would be hard to re-shoot.

worth the cash, but was not the best cinmeatic experience of all time vide I expected. A worse Hangover (because it was shot 4 year ago and shelved)

Wow. Think much of yourself don't you? If you find us "dirty southerners" so repulsive get the frick off the board.

And why would this happen again? Hangover almost came out a year ago now.

It had it's moments but I was pretty underwhelmed. Thought it would be funnier. Some people may laugh more than I did, but meh.

I thought it was absolutely hilarious. It was exactly what a movie called Hot Tub Time Machine should be. I loved all the 80s winks/nods and Craig Robinson is my hero.
I didn't think it was anything like The Hangover.
If it was made 4 years ago and shelved, how can it be a poor attempt to mimic The Hangover?
Um, false. I didn't think it was that bad. It was about on par with American Pie or The Hangover, if not slightly less raunchy than those. Certainly NOT borderline X.
Please. This was one of the Top 5 funniest parts of the movie, IMO. Lighten up, Francis.
Actually, Billy Zabka was Rick Steelman, the guy Lou bet on the football game with. I didn't recognize him at first, but
Awesome cameo.
