It's definitely picked up the past few episodes

I enjoyed it too. good grief, carrie is so predictable. anytime something bad happens to brody she gets that crazy bitch teary eyed look. who cares about the operation, is my psychopath baby daddy ok?

it is certainly interesting
I loved the interaction with the JSOC General, Sen Lockhart, Dar Adal, the NSA and Saul
I think a "The Unit" type of show on HBO or Showtime would be awesome

I wonder what this team was supposed to be...DEVGRU, CIA SOG or Delta.
Saul said they were from Dam Neck, VA...which is where DEVGRU is headquartered. However, CIA SOG are supposed to be able to blend with culture...hence the Arab looking guys.
What say you?

Just watched ep7 of this season, the Brody family shite is really getting on my nerves, are they almost done with them?

I think so. I don't see Brody making it out of this season alive. If he does, I think he will go somewhere far away. Will be no use for him.

I don't see how the show goes on without him in it?

You should check out "Strike Back" on Cinemax

I don't see the show lasting that much longer honestly. I'm glad we finally get to see Brody in the field. Even if he comes back from the mission he's a traitor and a terrorist.
Where does Saul go from here? His whole thing was to be director and that's taken away.
Carrie is going to have Brody's bastard and then what? I don't see another direction I'm interested in after this season.

The show has run its course for sure.

Should've had Quinn kill him last year and then had a new story arch this year.

I like strike back quite a bit but how many times are they gonna be duped in their own nest. It's ridiculous.

I still miss this show. Hated when it shut down.

I believe the writers have said they never intended for Brody to make it out of the first season, but the fans like the character so much they decided to keep him around.
The story is truly more about Carrie as a whole, but Brody is so entrenched now that it's hard to imagine the show going on without him.
Obviously, they could extend things by truly making Brody a traitor and taking up residence in Iran...Saul being forced out or even set up for treason charges by the Senator...Carrie having Brody's bastard, terrorist baby, etc.
There are a number of trails to extend the life of the show.

You know shite's getting real when her lip starts quivering.

the show has gotten 10 folds better since they took Brody's family out of the show

Yeah, this show's lost its balance. Everything's gone limp except the procedural/spygames stuff, which is still enough to keep me watching.
And shouldn't the US President be in the mix by now?

This is why Brody will have to die.
There is no scenario in which he is a hero and goes back to his life.
He either dies in Iran or pulls some Muslim stuff once there and sells out the plan.
There is no way the writers can have him pull of the plan and come back to the U.S. a hero without getting ridiculous.

I predict Brody will he in contact with Carrie. She will reveal the baby. He will go do his mission and be successful and then another agent kills Brody under orders if the new CIA supervisor behind sauls back.
