Pope Innocent III would be a good figure to learn more about. In his time as Pope, he was the most powerful man in Europe. He organized a couple of Crusades and shut down Kings. He even tried to suppress the Magna Carta through annulment.

Innocent III would make a good HBO series.
The fall of Constantinople would interest me. A big bloody desperate siege where the emperors body is never found.

RFK- Starring Matt Damon preferably
Martin Luther King JR- Denzel Washington maybe
World War II/ Adolf Hitler- Either one would make a fantastic movie

would love to see an "unrated" biopic about Traci Lords, starring J. Lawrence.
But, I would also like to see a Saving Private Ryan or Platoon-type treatment of WWI. The War Horse was good, but not quite what I was looking for.

In all seriousness:
Machiovelli
St. Thomas Moore
The 1848 Italian revolution and unification
Battle of Tours and the Moorish invasion of Central Europe (probably the battle that saved Christianity as we know it)

The holocaust. No one ever gets it right. And I like schindler's list but it's true.
