If you guys remember a few episodes back (Hibachi episode) Ted was refusing to admit he was in love with Robin and then at the end of the episode he said they ended up being less close or something to the effect. I think this is what that is. I think Barney ends up marrying Robin by season's end. I doubt he marries Quinn. Just my two cents...

I think the writers are bored and are just trying to write a bunch of filler episodes with a bs storyline that will lead to nothing.

Did you all forget when Ted first met Robin he told his kids "That was how I met your aunt Robin"? So it can't be Robin.

Theyve already written themselves in a hole with the Robin-Ted thing which is their own fault so they gotta get creative to make that the case
I really dont like Barney and Robin together, just seems forced and unnatural to me for some reason. I like him with the indian chick and i like the new stripper chick way more than with robin.

Yeah I keep going back to this as well.
I was thinking maybe they get back together but something tragic ultimately happens to Robin before they get married/have kids. so when he talks about her, he just refers to her as Aunts Robin to be endearing?

In the episode where you find out she cant have kids he talks about how she travels the world. Doesn't sound like they're going to kill her off.

This. Ted does know that Robin is unable to have children yet. Robin has only told Marshal and Lily (well also Kumar).

Wrong. She said to him "I thought he (Kumar) was the one and he couldnt look past this one thing (not being able to have kids or wanting)"

I don't think Ive ever liked a show this much, and hate the main character.
Ted is the most annoying character ever, IDAF who he marries at this point. The episodes that are more heavily Marshall, or Barney are so much better than the all Ted ones

Not saying they will actually do it, but one way around all of those things is that Robin changes her mind about wanting kids and they find a surrogate who happened to be in the class, was the roommate, etc.
