Anyone who disparages Highlander is not someone I want to know.

Yeah, the movie hasn't really held up, but I still dig it. I especially loved the Adrian Paul series. In college, my roommates and I planned our afternoons (syndicated episodes) and Sunday nights (new episodes) around it.

I don't acknowledge the sequels.

Didn't Tessa get butt neked for the version overseas? I might have to look that up. I'll fap to her and scream "There can be only one" when I bust it.

This movie fricking blew. shite effects (but I won't judge for the time), shite, nay stupid plot, bad acting, shitty fight scenes, virtually nothing epic at all.

STFU you fricking blasphemer.

Why is it, when people point out flaws with Highlander, no one ever mentions that we were asked to believe that Sean Connery was an Egyptian named Juan?

My main problem with the series is that "powers" were continually referenced, yet none were ever shown in any form. An imortal was supposed to gain some kind of powers after killing another, and this was consistently mentioned, yet nothing ever really came of it. Duncan would kill some 1,300 year old immortal who was supposed to be supremely powerful, but then he didn't really get anything out of it. At least not in any discernible way.

Nope. He says he's an egyptian.

Loved the first movie. Loved the TV series.

Best part of the show was the Theme Song "Princess of the Universe" by Queen because about 3/4ths of the way through the song Mercury yells out "Bring on the girls!"

That said, I loved both the first movie and the tv show.

A decapitated man lying next to his own head. A head, at this time, that has no name.

I know his name.
