Well, let's see. Reports come out that Cavill is out as Superman. Both sides confirm nothing, but don't flat out deny anything. What does that sound like to you? Compare it to college football coaching. These things are usually smoke to heat up negotiations by one side or the other.
Cavill is a busy man right now. I'm sure he still wants to play Superman, but in order for it to be worth it to him, I imagine he'll want to be paid. I also don't think WB understood how much the public loves his Superman and probably wondered if he was even worth it. Especially since his movies have been so polarizing. I'm sure they understand at this point that the issues with Superman had nothing to do with Cavill. So maybe both sides will be able to work something out now. We'll see.

Absolutely..We sure as hell don't want to be true to the original intent of the character...Instead of creating new characters with new stories let's just hijack the old ones, steal their history and rewrite it....
